Well that’s how it is in real life also. If they don’t give you even a shred of attention then no matter how much of a goody two shoes you are, you won’t be able to win over them. So, get their attention, either by teasing them or praising them. I’ve seen many guy and girls who were in the beginning of the semester were at odds(mainly the guy’s fault for teasing her) but then by end of the semester you have a couple. Surprise!(Not really a surprise.) And fellas like me who were too much of a goody two shoes/cowards were left in the friend zone.

Hey, hey, just had a wild random thought, so wanted to say, building on from my theory that Charlotte’s ability was something that allowed her to survive in the prison back then, what if her power, was instead, the cause of everything that happened in the prison? That is, she was the one who killed everyone and caused the bodies to be in that gruesome state? So something that was dangerous and could be seen as an evil power… It would match up with why it’s being kept confidential, and might be something that damaged “imperial honor or prestige”, like our MC is suspecting, no? Then it could also follow that her taking the supernatural power classes would be for the purpose of controlling her power rather than training it, hmm?
Actually, one more thing. I guess there’s also the part where she said that she’d kill Reinhardt herself if he betrayed her and handed “Valier” to Bertus instead. Might be a bit of a stretch, but wouldn’t that be implying that she had some power of her own that she could use to kill him? Like, sure it could be a more mundane method, like using a knife, and not using supernatural powers, but in light of the confidentiality of her supernatural power… I think there’s some weight to these suspicions…
Anywho, yeah, I’m leaning towards the idea that she has some OP power right now, haha.
